Our Story
The Green Card Bureau of Iran serves as Iran's national Green Card Bureau, responsible for overseeing proper compliance with the provisions of the Uniform Agreement (U.A.) among member bureaus.
In Iran, Iran Insurance Company was, for many years, the sole insurance company that held membership in the Green Card Bureau of Iran and was authorized to issue Green Card insurance policies.
In 1402 (2023–2024), following the approval of Regulation No. 103 by the Supreme Council of Insurance, all insurance companies licensed to issue compulsory third-party liability insurance became members of the Institute Implementing International Compulsory Third-Party Liability Insurance.
Our Mission
To ensure the proper implementation of the Green Card (International Motor Insurance Card) system in Iran, safeguarding compliance with the Uniform Agreement among member bureaus and providing reliable, standardized third-party liability coverage for vehicles crossing international borders.

To be a trusted, transparent national authority that strengthens Iran's integration into the international Green Card system — protecting policyholders, supporting member insurance companies, and upholding the highest standards of cross-border insurance compliance.
